Akilah has previously worked as a senior practitioner within an inner London children's team.
Akilah has a wealth of expertise having been in Learning & Development, working as a practice learning coordinator, and honing her skills in developing a learning organisational culture.

Akilah is both experienced and skilled in enabling adult learning through practice education, supervision, Lecturing, coaching, and mentoring incorporating tools such as MBTI. (step 1 qualified)
Akilah has a solid knowledge base of the Professional capabilities framework PEPs training and Social Work England standards. 
Akilah is a skilled and experienced Practice educator who works well in supporting social work students, PE, and organisations across a variety of traditional and non-traditional placement settings. Akilah is an experienced PQ assessor. 

Akilah has extensive experience of planning and delivering bespoke training to help support workforce development and change management.

Akilah is an associate of Research in Practice and the Tavistock Portman delivering national training on the DoE funded "Practice Supervisors Development Program" for Managers and supervisors within Children and Families services.
